The Bike Affair is a premium cycle shop in Kondapur, Hyderabad. We stock road, gravel and mountain bikes from Basso, Cannondale, Colnago, Merida, Polygon, Pardus and Fuji, run a full service workshop, and offer professional bike fitting. You can walk in, get sized properly, take a demo bike for a spin, and talk to people who ride the same roads you do.
We have been part of the Hyderabad cycling community since 2009. Most of what we know about which bike suits which rider came from riding here. We would rather send you home on the right bike than the expensive one.

Bicycle brands you can see in person
These are the brands we hold in the Kondapur store, so you can look at the actual bike, check the finish, and be measured for a size before you commit:

Live stock for every model and size is shown on its product page, so you can check before making the trip. We also carry helmets, shoes, apparel, components, trainers, GPS computers and nutrition in store. The full range is on our online store, with delivery across India.
Demo bikes
We keep two demo bikes for test rides: the Basso Venta R and the Cannondale SuperSix. Both are available for a short spin from the store. Let us know your size in advance and we will have it ready.
Everything we sell is brand new
We do not deal in used, second-hand, refurbished or ex-demo bikes and components. Every product we sell, in store and online, is brand new and comes with full manufacturer warranty.
The only bikes in the store that have been ridden are our two demo bikes, and those are not for sale. They exist so you can try a bike before buying one.
How you can pay
We accept the following, both in store and online:
- UPI
- Debit cards
- Credit cards
- Net banking
- EMI on credit cards
- Snapmint No-Card EMI, which lets you pay in instalments without a credit card
- Cash on delivery, on orders up to ₹20,000
Snapmint is worth knowing about if you are buying a bike and would rather spread the cost. It does not require a credit card, which is the usual barrier to EMI on a larger purchase. If you are unsure which option suits you, ask us in the store or call the online orders line.
How Cash on Delivery works
If you are ordering from us for the first time, COD requires a partial payment of ₹200 online at checkout, with the balance paid in cash when the order arrives. The ₹200 is part of your order total, not an additional charge.
Once that first order has been delivered, full Cash on Delivery is available on everything you order after that, up to ₹20,000, with no partial payment.
We brought this in because of a rise in fake orders and refused COD deliveries. It applies once, to your first order only. Full details are in our shipping policy.
Bicycle service and repairs in Hyderabad
Our workshop handles everything from a pre-weekend tune up to a full strip down. Every job comes with a two week guarantee, a written estimate we will not exceed without your approval, and a detailed service report when you collect the bike.
Depending on the season we run a backlog of one to four days, so servicing is by appointment only. Once you have a slot, drop the bike in that morning and collect it the same evening.

Bike fitting
A bike that fits is the difference between finishing a 100 km ride comfortable and finishing it in pain. We offer professional bike fitting at the Kondapur store, handled by Krishnendu Basu. Details and pricing are on our bike fit page.
Ride with us
We run weekly group rides in Hyderabad and have done for years. They do not start from the store, start points change, and everything is posted on our Strava club.
- Thursdays, mid level group ride, finishing with coffee
- Sundays, long ride, 80 to 90 km, two pace groups at roughly 26 and 30 kmph
- Sundays, leisure pace group ride, 40 to 60 km
Everyone is welcome. If you are not sure which group suits you, come to the leisure ride first or ask us in the store.

- Sailendra, retail store manager. A multiple time state champion and the current state champion, racing and riding for over ten years. If you want to know how a bike actually behaves at speed, ask him.
- Gokul Krishna, co-founder, in the store most days. An ABCC certified coach who also coaches cyclists and runners in triathlon.

Delivery and store pickup in Hyderabad
How quickly an order reaches you in Hyderabad depends on where it ships from. Anything showing "pickup available at store" under the Add to Cart button is physically with us in Kondapur:
- Within 5 km of Kondapur, same working day or the next working day.
- Rest of Hyderabad, 1 to 2 working days.
- Store pickup, add "I will pick up from store" in the order comments and collect during store hours.
Products that do not show pickup availability are dispatched directly from our supplier's warehouse, so delivery takes longer and varies by supplier and location. The estimate for your order is shown at checkout, and you can check your order status at any time.

Where can I buy a Colnago or Pinarello in Hyderabad?
Colnago is on the shop floor at our Kondapur store, so you can see the bikes and be sized before ordering. Colnago bikes are built to order with a 4 to 5 week lead time. Pinarello is not on the shop floor, but you can order the full Pinarello road range online with delivery across India. See our Colnago range online too.
Can I test ride a bike before buying?
Yes. We keep a Basso Venta R and a Cannondale SuperSix as demo bikes for a short test ride from the store. Demo bikes come in a limited range of sizes, so let us know your size in advance and we will have it ready.
How much does bicycle servicing cost in Hyderabad?
A drive train service is ₹420, a tune up ₹480, a general service ₹1,450 and a full strip down ₹3,000, all inclusive of GST. Servicing is by appointment, with a one to four day backlog depending on season.
Where can I get a professional bike fit in Hyderabad?
At our Kondapur store, one-to-one with co-founder Krishnendu Basu, a Gebiomized-certified fitter. A Foundation Fit is ₹2,500 for 45 minutes, a Road Fit is ₹6,500 and a Triathlon Fit is ₹7,500. Every fit is backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee. Packages and booking are on our bike fit page.
