The Bike Affair is a premium cycle shop in Kondapur, Hyderabad. We stock road, gravel and mountain bikes from Basso, Cannondale, Colnago, Merida, Polygon and Fuji, run a full service workshop, and offer professional bike fitting. You can walk in, get sized properly, take a demo bike for a spin, and talk to people who ride the same roads you do.
We have been part of the Hyderabad cycling community since 2009. Most of what we know about which bike suits which rider came from riding here. We would rather send you home on the right bike than the expensive one.

Demo bikes
We keep two demo bikes for test rides: the Basso Venta R and the Cannondale SuperSix. Both are available for a short spin from the store. Call ahead to make sure the size you want is free.
Bicycle service and repairs in Hyderabad
Our workshop handles everything from a pre-weekend tune up to a full strip down. Every job comes with a two week guarantee, a written estimate we will not exceed without your approval, and a detailed service report when you collect the bike.
Depending on the season we run a backlog of one to four days, so servicing is by appointment only. Once you have a slot, drop the bike in that morning and collect it the same evening.

Bike fitting
A bike that fits is the difference between finishing a 100 km ride comfortable and finishing it in pain. We offer professional bike fitting at the Kondapur store, handled by Krishnendu Basu. Details and pricing are on our bike fit page, or call the store to book.
Ride with us
We run weekly group rides in Hyderabad and have done for years. They do not start from the store, start points change, and everything is posted on our Strava club.
- Thursdays — mid level group ride, finishing with coffee
- Sundays — long ride, 80 to 90 km, two pace groups at roughly 26 and 30 kmph
- Sundays — leisure pace group ride, 40 to 60 km
Everyone is welcome. If you are not sure which group suits you, come to the leisure ride first or ask us in the store.
The people in the store
- Sailendra — retail store manager. A multiple time state champion and the current state champion, racing and riding for over ten years. If you want to know how a bike actually behaves at speed, ask him.
- Gokul Krishna — co-founder, in the store most days. An ABCC certified coach who also coaches cyclists and runners in triathlon.
- Krishnendu Basu — co-founder, handles bike fitting and our cycling tours.
- Arbaaz — workshop technician.
