The Basso range

Venta is the entry point into the range and the model most Indian riders start with — a race-capable carbon frame with slightly more forgiving geometry, available in rim and disc, with the Venta R as the current-generation disc platform. Framesets from ₹94,990.

Astra sits a step up, in rim and disc versions, for riders who want sharper handling than the Venta without moving to the flagship.

Diamante and Diamante SV are the top of the range — the frames Basso builds for racing. The Diamante SV Disc frameset is ₹4,36,990 and is the fastest thing we sell in the brand.

Palta II is the gravel platform, for riders heading off tarmac on the routes around Hyderabad and beyond.

Framesets and custom builds

Most of our Basso stock is framesets, which suits how these bikes are usually bought — riders specify their own groupset, wheels and finishing kit rather than taking a stock build. We build to order in our Hyderabad workshop. Complete bikes are available too, with configurations across Shimano 105 12-speed and 105 Di2, paired with Fulcrum Racing, Vision SC, Vision Metron or Attaque Carbon wheels.

Getting the size right

Basso sizing follows Italian conventions and runs slightly long in the top tube compared with most Asian-market brands. Check the Basso size chart, and if you are between sizes, our bike fitting service at the Kondapur store will settle it properly before you order a frame you cannot return.
