Basso Palta II Disc Frameset - Phantom Black / 53 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Basso Palta II Disc Frameset takes the much-loved characteristics of its predecessor and evolves them to meet the demands of modern gravel riding. Maintaining its signature Basso ride feel, the Palta II offers an enhanced blend of speed, stability and versatility, delivering a frame that's ready to perform on any surface. It’s a masterclass in combining tradition with innovation, satisfying both road enthusiasts and gravel explorers alike.
A Refined Geometry for All-Terrain Capability: Building on its predecessor’s geometry, the Palta II introduces subtle adjustments that elevate its off-road capabilities while retaining its on-road prowess. A slightly higher top tube and slacker head tube angle ensure a comfortable and confident position without the need for excessive headset spacers. The increased slope of the top tube results in greater seat post exposure, improving compliance and comfort for long days in the saddle.
Racy Yet Versatile: True to Basso's philosophy, the Palta II combines a racy, engaging ride feel with remarkable stability. This duality makes it equally adept at tackling rough off-road paths and smooth tarmac. Whether you’re chasing speed on gravel trails or cruising on paved roads, the Palta II delivers a balanced and controlled experience, inspiring confidence in every turn.
Modern Features for Enhanced Performance: The Palta II is designed with modernity in mind, improving aerodynamics, internal cable routing and overall comfort. These advancements make the frameset more versatile, capable and efficient, catering to riders who need a do-it-all bike for varying terrains and conditions. It's the ultimate choice for those who demand performance without compromise.
By preserving the original Palta’s celebrated ride characteristics and enhancing its versatility, the Basso Palta II is a frameset built to handle every challenge. From gravel adventures to high-speed road rides, it embodies the spirit of exploration while staying true to the traditions that define the Basso brand.
