Unived Malnad Ultra Gel 100

Unived Malnad Ultra Gel 100 in Bhadra Coffee flavour is a limited-edition endurance energy gel developed for sustained physical activity. Each serving provides 100kcal from 25g of carbohydrate, alongside electrolytes, beta-alanine and caffeine. It suits cyclists, runners and endurance athletes who need carbohydrate replenishment during prolonged efforts and prefer a coffee-flavoured, caffeinated option. Unlike caffeine-free energy gels, this formulation also provides 100mg of caffeine, making it particularly relevant when riders want to incorporate caffeine into their fuelling strategy.

Energy delivery: The carbohydrate formulation combines maltodextrin and dextrose, providing glucose-based fuel during exercise. Regular carbohydrate intake helps maintain blood glucose availability as stored glycogen becomes depleted during longer rides. The gel also supplies sodium, potassium, magnesium and chloride, electrolytes involved in fluid balance and normal muscle function. Its concentrated consistency allows riders to consume carbohydrate without chewing, making it practical during continuous activity. The included beta-alanine contributes to ongoing supplementation rather than providing an immediate performance benefit from a single serving.

Fuelling considerations: Unived recommends consuming the gel with water to support digestion and reduce the likelihood of gastrointestinal discomfort. At the recommended interval of one gel every 30 minutes, carbohydrate intake reaches approximately 50g per hour. Riders targeting carbohydrate consumption above approximately 60g per hour may need a different fuelling formulation, such as Unived Elite Gel 180. The 100mg caffeine content should be considered alongside coffee, energy drinks and other caffeinated supplements consumed during the day. Athletes should establish individual carbohydrate and caffeine tolerance during training before relying on this gel in an event.
