How To Use
  1. Select Adapter: Choose the correct adapter by checking the bearing standard or measuring the bearing’s inner and outer dimensions.
  2. Fit Bearing and Adapter: Slide the selected adapter and bearing onto the threaded rod.
  3. Use Frame Protector: Place a plastic protector on the opposite side when needed to protect the frame surface.
  4. Set Quick Release Handle: Slide the quick release handle towards the bearing adapter, then lock the mechanism.
  5. Press Bearing In: Turn the handle clockwise, keeping the bearing and adapter aligned with the frame or component opening.
  6. Install Carefully: Press BB30 and similar bottom bracket bearings from both sides together; for other frame bearings, one side at a time is recommended.

Overview

The Unior 1721 Universal Bearing Press is designed to install cartridge bearings smoothly and accurately without hammering. It helps press the bearing squarely into place for a cleaner and safer fit.

Even Pressure On The Outer Race: The threaded-shaft design uses a handle on one end and the correct drift on the other. As the handle is turned, force is applied through the drift to the bearing’s outer race, helping protect the bearing seal and internal races.

Covers Common Bearing Sizes: The drift assortment is made to cover common bearing outside diameters used in headsets, external bottom bracket cups and most hub bearings. This makes it a versatile tool for regular bicycle bearing service.

Organised SOS Foam Storage: All drifts are stored in a laser-cut SOS foam tray inside a plastic case, keeping the press and matching parts neatly organised. This makes it easier to quickly find the correct drift during workshop use.
