The SRAM S900 Direct Mount Brake Caliper marks a significant milestone as SRAM's inaugural venture into direct mount road brakes. This addition not only completes SRAM's comprehensive road brake lineup but sets a new standard for braking performance and design ingenuity on the road.
Engineered for Power and Sensitivity: At the core of the S-900's design philosophy is the pursuit of optimal power and a superior tactile feel. This brake caliper is meticulously engineered to enhance your control and confidence during every ride. By focusing on reducing "splay force," SRAM's engineers have directed more energy into the braking mechanism itself, rather than dispersing it through the frame and fork. This innovative approach ensures a more effective energy transfer from lever to rim, resulting in precise modulation, a responsive feel, and a swift return.
Optimized Energy Transfer for Efficient Braking: The direct mount configuration of the S900 facilitates a more efficient energy transfer, providing you with solid modulation and a quick, snappy response. This system enhances the overall braking experience, offering you the reliability and performance needed to tackle fast descents, sharp turns, and emergency stops with ease.
Compatibility and Versatility: Designed with versatility in mind, the S900 brake caliper offers clearance for tires up to 28c, accommodating the growing trend towards wider, more comfortable road tires. Moreover, it boasts compatibility with all non-hydraulic SRAM road levers, including the cutting-edge SRAM RED® eTap®, ensuring that cyclists can integrate this high-performance brake into a wide range of setups.
A Comprehensive Solution for Road Cyclists: The SRAM S900 Direct Mount Brake Caliper is more than just a component; it's a comprehensive solution for cyclists demanding the best in braking technology. Whether you're upgrading your race machine or refining your favorite road bike, the S900 provides the power, modulation, and reliability to elevate your cycling experience.
Embrace the future of road braking with SRAM's S900 and experience unparalleled control and performance on every ride.
