Lighter Shift Action. Shimano uses a longer lever-arm design to reduce the effort required at the shift lever. This helps front gear changes feel easier and more deliberate when moving between chainrings, particularly when terrain changes and riders need to adjust gearing without disrupting their rhythm.

Two Mounting Options. The FD-4700 is available in both brazed-on and clamp-band configurations, allowing riders to select the version suited to their frame. Both versions share the same core shifting characteristics, so the choice primarily depends on the bicycle's mounting arrangement. When installed as part of a correctly matched Tiagra drivetrain, the derailleur is designed to provide precise and reliable front shifting across regular road-riding conditions.

Returns can be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all tags and packaging intact. Returns are available only on select categories such as apparel, helmets, jerseys, gloves, and similar items. Wetsuits and products discounted above 5% are not eligible for return.
