Wheel Building Practicality. The hub's aluminium construction provides the central structure for transferring loads between the fork and spokes. Its bearing arrangement supports axle rotation within the hub shell, while the conventional flange design allows a wheel builder to calculate spoke lengths and establish suitable spoke tension. Fitment and Installation. Before selecting this hub, confirm that the bicycle's fork, brake rotor interface and intended rim are compatible.
