The MKS CA-MX14 Chain Adjuster is designed for BMX and track bicycles with compatible horizontal rear dropouts. It helps maintain chain tension and rear wheel alignment by controlling the axle position within the dropout. Unlike a chain connector, this component adjusts the position of the rear wheel rather than joining sections of chain.

How to use

Remove the protective tape without changing the factory-set adjustment bolt position.
Fit the adjuster onto the rear axle with the holder ring against the inner axle locknut.
Position the marked face and square projection towards the outside, then fit the wheel into the dropouts.
Turn the adjustment bolt clockwise to move the wheel backwards or anticlockwise to move it forwards.
Tighten the rear axle locknuts, then loosen the adjustment bolt and confirm the locknuts remain secure.
Lightly retighten the adjustment bolt without exceeding 1.5Nm.

Returns can be started within 7 days of delivery on unused items in their original condition with all tags and packaging. Apparel, helmets, gloves and similar items are returnable; wetsuits and products discounted by more than 5% are not. Compatibility questions are not grounds for a return unless our listing was wrong, so ask us before you order if you are unsure.
