How To Use

How to Solder

  1. Prepare the Surface: Remove dirt, rust, oil, and oxidation from the soldering area before applying solder. Using flux remover is recommended.
  2. Heat the Soldering Point: Heat to the required solder melting temperature (230-260°C).
  3. Apply Solder: Place solder at the junction of the soldering iron tip and the workpiece for proper adhesion.
  4. Check for Proper Adhesion: If solder does not stick and balls up, clean the tip, let it cool, and retry.
  5. Inspect the Joint: Ensure the melted solder fully covers the area and has a smooth finish.
  6. Prevent Oxidation: Coat the solder-plated tip with fresh solder after use before switching off the iron.
  7. Final Cleaning: After soldering, wash the area with flux remover for a clean finish.

Warnings

  • Do not use if the power cord is damaged.
  • Do not exceed the rated voltage.
  • Avoid using near flammable materials.

Cautions

  • Always use a soldering iron stand.
  • Avoid applying physical shocks to the soldering iron.
  • Never cool the iron with water or other liquids.
  • Use only genuine tips and heaters.
  • Do not press the booster switch continuously for more than 30 seconds.

Boost Function for Increased Heat Output: The built-in booster temporarily increases heater current and heat volume, allowing for faster and more efficient soldering. However, the boost switch should not be pressed continuously for more than 30 seconds to prevent overheating and ensure safe operation.

Applicable for Lead-Free Solder: The soldering tip is covered with lead-free solder, which can easily burn or stick if heated without use, even for a short time. To maintain performance, it is recommended to tin the tip with solder when energizing for the first time and always turn off the power after wiping the used solder and re-tinning with fresh solder.

Returns can be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all tags and packaging intact. Returns are available only on select categories such as apparel, helmets, jerseys, gloves, and similar items. Wetsuits and products discounted above 5% are not eligible for return.

Returns are not accepted for compatibility-related issues unless the product description on our website was incorrect. Return shipping must be arranged by the customer, as pickup is not available.
