The CeramicSpeed OSPW Aero Alpha is an oversized pulley wheel system developed for competitive road cycling and triathlon. Designed to replace the original rear derailleur cage on compatible Shimano drivetrains, it combines aerodynamic shaping with low-friction ceramic bearings to reduce energy losses in the drivetrain.

Aerodynamic Efficiency. The structural cage design reduces aerodynamic drag around the rear derailleur, while the oversized pulley arrangement helps improve drivetrain efficiency. CeramicSpeed's Alpha Disc pulleys incorporate composite teeth that reduce chain noise and improve durability. The system is developed and tested with a focus on efficiency at racing speeds.

Protected Bearings. CeramicSpeed's Active Debris Remover technology helps prevent contaminants from accumulating around the pulley bearings. The system is assembled by hand in Denmark and designed for maintenance and servicing over its working life. This generation uses a revised cage and pulley design, meaning its Alpha Disc pulleys cannot be fitted to previous-generation OSPW Aero cages.
