The BlackBearing 1/4-9 Ball Cage is a replacement ball retainer designed for compatible bicycle bearing assemblies. It is suitable for cyclists and mechanics servicing worn or damaged bearing cages in components such as wheel hubs and bottom brackets. Replacing the retainer allows an otherwise serviceable bearing assembly to be maintained without replacing the complete component.

Consistent Ball Positioning. The cage keeps the bearing balls evenly spaced, helping maintain smooth rotation and preventing the rolling elements from bunching together. Its chrome steel construction provides durability for regular cycling applications.

Compatibility. Before purchasing, confirm that the ball cage dimensions, ball diameter and ball count match the original component. Correct fitment and suitable bearing lubrication are essential for smooth operation and to prevent premature wear.
