The Zipp Spring and Pawl Set is a genuine service kit for the engagement mechanism inside compatible Zipp ZR1 rear hubs. It is intended for wheel servicing when the existing pawls, springs or related sealing hardware need replacement, allowing the engagement system to be refreshed without replacing the complete hub or freehub body. It suits professional workshops and experienced home mechanics maintaining Zipp wheels equipped with the ZR1 hub platform.
Restores Hub Engagement. Pawls and their springs are responsible for transferring drive through the freehub mechanism when pedalling and allowing the wheel to coast when pressure is removed. Wear, contamination or damaged components can affect engagement behaviour, so replacing the service parts together provides a systematic approach to hub maintenance rather than changing individual pieces selectively. The supplied sealing and retaining components also allow associated parts of the driver-body assembly to be renewed during the same service.
Check the Hub. This kit is specifically intended for Zipp ZR1 hubs and should not be assumed to fit other Zipp hub families simply because their internal mechanisms appear similar. It is a spring-and-pawl service set, not a complete freehub body, axle or bearing kit. Confirm the hub model before disassembly and follow the appropriate Zipp service procedure when installing the replacement components.

We ship across India. Shipping is free on orders above ₹2,000 and ₹99 below that. Cash on delivery is available on orders up to ₹20,000, with a COD charge that depends on the order value. Returns can be started within 7 days of delivery on unused items in their original condition with all tags and packaging. Apparel, helmets, gloves and similar items are returnable; wetsuits and products discounted by more than 5% are not. Compatibility questions are not grounds for a return unless our listing was wrong, so ask us before you order if you are unsure. Return shipping is arranged by you; on an accepted return you can choose an exchange, store credit or a refund after shipping and transaction charges.
