How To Use
  1. Seat Tool Fully: Insert the 1671.2/4 into the bottom bracket or lockring interface until all 8 splines engage fully.
  2. Avoid Partial Grip: Do not apply force if the tool is not fully seated, as partial contact can damage the cup or lockring.
  3. Choose Drive Tool: Use a 1/2” ratchet, fixed handle, adjustable wrench on the body, or torque wrench when required.
  4. Check Thread Direction: Confirm the bottom bracket cup marking before applying force, especially on older or Italian-thread frames.
  5. Apply Controlled Force: Turn steadily while keeping the tool square to prevent slipping or rounding the interface.
