Praxis BSA M30 68/73 Threaded Bottom Bracket

Praxis BSA M30 Threaded Bottom Bracket is the standard steel-bearing option for fitting a Praxis M30 alloy-spindle crank into a BSA, or English threaded, frame. It suits riders who already have a compatible Praxis M30 crank and want a conventional threaded installation rather than a press-fit solution. Compared with the ceramic-bearing version of the same M30 BSA bottom bracket, this SKU uses steel cartridge bearings. It is not a universal interface for every crank spindle, and it should not be confused with Praxis M30-Thru hardware, which uses a different bearing arrangement.

Stepped M30 Interface. The M30 system uses a stepped bearing arrangement that matches the Praxis spindle design. In practice, that means correct crank identification matters more than simply matching the frame's thread standard. A drive-side wave washer provides bearing preload, while the forged and machined heat-treated alloy cups thread directly into the frame shell. This makes the bottom bracket a specific interface between a compatible Praxis crank and a BSA-threaded frame, rather than a generic conversion part.

Check Crank Compatibility. Installation requires a Praxis M30 socket-style or wrench-style tool, which is sold separately. Before ordering, confirm that the frame is BSA threaded and that the crank is a standard Praxis M30 alloy-spindle model. If the crank is M30-Thru or another manufacturer's spindle system, this is not the correct bottom bracket unless Praxis explicitly lists compatibility.
