Polygon Xtrada/Siskiu 27.5/29 Dropout Hanger (Direct Attach)

Polygon Xtrada/Siskiu 27.5/29 Dropout Hanger (Direct Attach) is a replacement rear derailleur hanger for selected generations of Polygon mountain bikes. It provides the mounting interface between the bicycle frame and rear derailleur, making it the correct replacement when the original direct-attach hanger becomes bent, damaged or broken. Despite the Xtrada/Siskiu product name, this hanger is also used across several compatible Cleo, Premier, Cozmic and Rayz models.

Compatibility Comes First. Polygon has used different hanger designs across model years, including visually similar Direct Attach and Direct Mount versions. Matching only the bicycle family or wheel format is therefore not enough. The exact model and production year should be confirmed before ordering. In particular, Rodalink states that the Direct Attach version is not suitable for the Siskiu 6 from 2015, which requires a different Direct Mount hanger.

Restore Derailleur Alignment. A damaged hanger can leave the rear derailleur sitting out of alignment, leading to inconsistent indexing, hesitation between gears or difficulty setting the drivetrain correctly. Replacing the hanger provides the correct mounting point for the rear derailleur and allows proper drivetrain adjustment to be restored. For older compatible Polygon frames, keeping a spare can also be useful when the correct model-specific hanger may be difficult to source quickly.
