Polygon Bend R2 27.5" Gravel Bicycle

The Polygon Bend R2 is an aluminium gravel bike aimed at riders who want to move comfortably between paved roads, broken surfaces and unsealed routes while retaining the familiar efficiency of a drop-bar bicycle. Polygon designed it with bikepacking and longer exploration in mind, including provisions for carrying equipment and fitting mudguards. The riding position is more upright than a race-focused road bike, making it better suited to long mixed-surface days than riders seeking an aggressive road-racing platform.

Comfort off Tarmac. A full-carbon rigid fork helps reduce vibration reaching the rider when roads become rough, while the flared drop handlebar gives additional control from the drops on loose or uneven surfaces. Shimano Sora shifting provides a conventional double-chainring road drivetrain with enough gearing versatility for everyday road riding and recreational gravel use. Mechanical disc brakes keep the braking system comparatively straightforward to service, an advantage for touring and riders travelling away from specialist workshops.

Ready for Adventure. Both the frame and fork are designed to accept carriers and mudguards, making the Bend R2 practical for commuting, touring and bikepacking setups. The tyres are tubeless ready, so riders can convert the bike with the necessary tubeless components if preferred. This is best viewed as an adventure-oriented gravel bike rather than a lightweight gravel race machine, with comfort, carrying flexibility and simple servicing taking priority.
