Merida Silex 4000 II1 2025 Bicycle | The Bike Affair

Delivery estimate

Merida Silex 4000 II1 2025 Bicycle is built for riders who want a lightweight carbon gravel bike ready for daily detours, rough roads and long adventure rides. It combines a carbon frame and fork with practical equipment, making it a strong entry point into Merida’s Silex carbon lineup.

Confident Off-Road Handling: The Silex uses mountain bike-inspired geometry with a slacker head angle to deliver stable and predictable control on gravel, broken roads and loaded routes. It stays planted with luggage yet remains fast and fun when the pace picks up.

Reliable GRX Drivetrain: Shimano’s durable 10-speed GRX drivetrain with a double chainset gives the Silex 4000 useful climbing range for varied terrain. Tubeless-ready Maxxis Rambler tyres add grip, comfort and control for mixed-surface riding.

Adventure-Ready Design: With clearance for up to 700x45 mm tyres, multiple mounting points, cargo-ready fork mounts and clean Wire Port cable routing, the bike is ready for commuting, touring and bikepacking. It also supports practical setup choices for different ride styles.

Merida Silex 4000 II1 2025 Bicycle is a stable, comfortable and capable carbon gravel bike for riders who want adventure-ready performance.

Di2 Ready: Frame compatibility allows Shimano Di2 electronic shifting components to be fitted when required.
Nano Matrix Carbon: Nano-scale particles in the resin improve carbon impact resistance by up to 40% for a stronger, lighter frame.
AWS Anti Wrinkle System: Carbon layers are compressed smoothly inside the mould to reduce voids and improve frame strength.

Disc Cooler: Forged aluminium cooling fins reduce brake temperature by up to 35% for better control on descents.
Internal Clamp: Wedge-style seatpost clamp sits inside the frame to reduce drag and keep the frame profile clean.
