Magene Exar Freehub For Ultra/Ultra Dark/Pro Wheelset - Shimano is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Magene Exar Freehub For Ultra/Ultra Dark/Pro Wheelset is a replacement freehub body for compatible Magene Exar wheelsets. It is intended for riders who need to match the rear hub to a supported cassette interface without replacing the complete wheel. The product is offered in two versions, Shimano-11S and SRAM-XDR, so the correct choice depends on the cassette standard being used. Compatibility is specifically stated for Exar Ultra, Ultra Dark and Pro wheelsets.
Cassette Matching Matters. The Shimano-11S version is listed for Shimano or SRAM 11-speed use. The SRAM-XDR version is intended for SRAM 12-speed XDR cassettes and includes an XDR-specific endcap. This makes the two variants functionally different, so the cassette system should be confirmed before selecting the freehub body. Magene also offers Shimano 11-speed and SRAM XDR freehub standards across the relevant Exar wheel families.
Check Wheel Compatibility. This freehub is intended for the named Exar Ultra, Ultra Dark and Pro wheelsets rather than being presented as a universal fit for every Exar wheel. Confirm the exact wheel model before installation, then select the variant that corresponds to the intended cassette system. The included XDR-specific endcap is supplied only with the SRAM-XDR version. Matching the correct freehub interface is particularly important when replacing this component during drivetrain servicing or changing between the listed cassette standards.
