The Fulcrum Wind 40 Disc Brake Wheelset is an all-round carbon wheelset developed for road and triathlon riders who want aerodynamic performance without moving to Fulcrum's more specialised top-tier racing options. Fulcrum positioned the Wind family as the entry point to its carbon range, combining performance-focused rim construction with practical durability and broad riding versatility. It suits riders looking for one carbon wheelset that can handle fast flat roads, climbing, descending and regular training rather than being optimised around a single terrain type.

Balanced for Speed. The rim profile is shaped to manage airflow smoothly around modern road tyres while remaining manageable when wind direction changes. Fulcrum uses asymmetric spoke layouts at both wheels to respond to the different loads created by the drivetrain and disc brake system. The result is intended to maintain lateral rigidity during acceleration and braking while supporting precise handling. Aluminium hubs and sealed cartridge bearings keep the hub construction straightforward for regular use and servicing.

Tubeless or Clincher. Fulcrum's 2-Way Fit construction allows the wheels to be used with compatible tubeless tyres or conventional clinchers with inner tubes. The continuous rim bed removes conventional spoke holes from the tyre-facing surface, simplifying tubeless sealing. The wheelset uses AFS disc mounting and road thru-axle standards, so confirm rotor interface, frame spacing and cassette compatibility before installation.

We ship across India. Shipping is free on orders above ₹2,000 and ₹99 below that. Cash on delivery is available on orders up to ₹20,000, with a COD charge that depends on the order value.
