The CeramicSpeed ITA Bottom Bracket for Shimano Road is engineered for Italian-threaded road frames, providing riders with ultra-low friction and optimized power transfer. Designed to fit the 70 mm-wide, 35 mm-diameter ITA shell, it ensures a perfect interface for 24 mm spindle cranks from Shimano, FSA and similar systems.
Built to Enhance Drivetrain Efficiency: This bottom bracket uses threaded cups that secure directly into the ITA frame, offering stability and resistance to creaking. Inside each cup are hand-built CeramicSpeed bearings, renowned for their smooth rotation and ability to deliver consistent performance under high loads and long-distance riding.
Standard and Coated Bearing Options: Riders can choose between two CeramicSpeed bearing types. The Standard option features super round ceramic balls running on hardened-steel races, while the Coated version adds a metallic surface treatment that increases hardness, smoothness and resistance to wear. Both options significantly reduce drag compared to conventional bearings.
