Abus Lowk-Y Led City Helmet

The Abus Lowk-Y Led City Helmet is built for daily commuting, e-bike use and relaxed urban rides where visibility and straightforward fit matter. Its defining feature is the rechargeable rear LED light, which clips directly onto the helmet and adds visibility in poor light and dense traffic. The helmet uses in-mould construction with an EPS inner layer bonded to a polycarbonate shell. It does not use Mips, so riders specifically looking for a rotational-impact system should factor that into their comparison.

City-Ready Lighting. The rear light provides steady and flash modes, with a stated minimum runtime of 6.5h in steady mode and 10.5h in flash mode depending on conditions and use. Charging takes approximately 1h through USB-C, while the light carries an IP44 protection rating against solid foreign bodies larger than 1mm and splash water. A Breakaway Visor helps shield the rider from sunlight and hanging branches while being designed to detach during a fall.

Secure Everyday Fit. The Zoom Spin rear dial allows circumference adjustment, supported by a full headring and Flap Divider strap system below the ears. A magnetic buckle can be operated with one hand, including while wearing gloves. The height-adjustable rear system accommodates ponytails, buns and braids, while soft Comfort Pads can be removed for hand washing or replacement. The Lowk-Y Led is offered in M and L sizes, covering head circumferences from 54cm to 61cm.

Returns can be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all tags and packaging intact. Returns are available only on select categories such as apparel, helmets, jerseys, gloves, and similar items. Wetsuits and products discounted above 5% are not eligible for return.

Returns are not accepted for compatibility-related issues unless the product description on our website was incorrect. Return shipping must be arranged by the customer, as pickup is not available.
