Silca StripChip Hot Melt Chain Degreaser is designed to simplify chain waxing by removing the need for harsh cleaners or traditional degreasing prep. Just drop one StripChip square into your hot wax, add the chain and let the process work inside the wax pot.

Turns Factory Grease into Wax: Each StripChip piece binds with the factory grease found on new chains and converts it into wax-compatible material. This allows the hot melt wax to penetrate deep into the chain pins and rollers for a cleaner, quieter and more efficient drivetrain.

Simple Waxing Process: The application is quick and straightforward. Use one StripChip square per new chain, wax the chain for around 10 minutes, then hang it to dry. The same wax pot can be reused for future waxing, making regular chain maintenance easier and more cost-effective.

Designed for Silca Hot Melt Wax: StripChip works seamlessly with Silca Super Secret Chain Blend Hot Melt Wax to support faster, longer-wearing drivetrain performance. It helps reduce friction and wear while making the chain preparation process cleaner and more convenient.

Returns can be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with all tags and packaging intact. Returns are available only on select categories such as apparel, helmets, jerseys, gloves, and similar items. Wetsuits and products discounted above 5% are not eligible for return.

Returns are not accepted for compatibility-related issues unless the product description on our website was incorrect. Return shipping must be arranged by the customer, as pickup is not available.
