How to measure

Grab a tape measure, write down the measurements and compare with our size chart for the right size. For best results, take measurements over your underwear. If your measurements fall between sizes, we suggest that you size up for a better fit.

1. HIPS
Holding the tape horizontally measure around the largest part of your hips keeping the feet close together.

2. INSEAM

Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the ankle bone

The Castelli Competizione Shorts are crafted to deliver top-tier performance without unnecessary extras. Whether you're heading out for a short spin or a long-distance ride, these shorts offer a perfect balance of comfort, fit, and function—ideal for riders seeking premium quality at a sensible price.

Fabric and Fit: Constructed with Affinity Pro Lycra on the inner legs, these shorts provide superior stretch and rebound, ensuring a snug yet flexible fit. On the outer legs, Vortex BLC textured fabric enhances aerodynamics, giving you a smoother, faster ride feel with reduced drag.

Comfort on Every Ride: The KISS Air2 seat pad is engineered for all-day comfort with dual-density foam and a soft brushed surface. It effectively cushions pressure zones while minimizing chafing, making it ideal for everything from casual rides to endurance events.

Stay Secure and Supported: Giro4 leg grippers with raw-cut edges and silicone strips keep the shorts in place without squeezing your thighs.

Mesh bib straps add breathability and a lightweight feel, while reflective details at the back improve your visibility during early morning or evening rides.

Care

Washing instructions are printed on a white tag inside each piece of clothing. Following these instructions will help make sure that your gear will last as long as possible. Careful washing and maintenance will ensure the highest performance from your Castelli products and extend their useful life span.

Always read the care label before washing a piece of clothing.
Close all zips and Velcro fasteners and turn the garment inside out.
Hand or machine wash on a lukewarm permanent press cycle (max. 30°C / 86°F)
Use a small amount of liquid or powder detergent, not other products that contain fabric softeners, conditioners, stain removers or bleach as they will affect garment performance.
