The Shimano GRX BL-RX810/BR-RX810 Hydraulic Disc Brake Set is designed for gravel bikes using a single-chainring drivetrain. It combines a dedicated hydraulic brake lever with a flat mount disc brake caliper. Unlike the ST-RX810, the BL-RX810 does not contain a gear-shifting mechanism, making it suitable for riders who do not require a front derailleur.
Braking control: The lever's gravel-specific ergonomics and textured surface provide a secure grip on uneven terrain. Hydraulic actuation delivers controlled braking, while the lever's adjustment mechanisms allow riders to customise its position and feel.
Compatibility: The brake caliper is intended for compatible flat mount frames and forks. This configuration is designed for the left-hand, front-brake position. Riders should confirm hose routing, rotor compatibility and mounting requirements before installation. A separate right-hand shift/brake lever is required for rear gear changes.
