The Tangeseiki Technoglide IS247 is a fully integrated headset designed for modern frames using a 1-1/4” lower steerer interface. It is engineered to deliver precise steering performance while maintaining a clean, integrated appearance within the head tube.
Fully Integrated Design: Built around a true integrated system, the IS247 sits directly inside the frame without external cups. This design reduces stack height, improves aesthetics and ensures accurate alignment between the frame and fork.
Lightweight Duraluminum Construction: The headset is manufactured from high-strength duraluminum alloy, offering an excellent balance of low weight and long-term durability. This construction helps maintain stiffness under load while supporting smooth, responsive handling.
Sealed Bearing System: It features a Campagnolo-sized 4T5 cartridge bearing on the upper and a Tange Seiki original 4T5 cartridge bearing sized for a 1-1/4” lower interface. The fully sealed mechanism protects the bearings from dirt and moisture, ensuring consistent performance with minimal maintenance.
