How to Care for Your Cycling Apparel in 10 Easy Steps
- Read the washing instruction labels.
- Wash your cycling gear separately. Washing regular clothes, like a heavy pair of jeans or a jacket, along with your cycling gear may ruin your light, delicate cycling kit.
- Rinse off all soil before washing.
- Do not soak for a long time. And the water temperature should be controlled within 30 degrees Celsius.
- Don't use softeners, bleach or washing powders.
- Wash inside out. Close all zipper and Velcros.
- Hand wash instead of machine wash. If using machine wash, place the kits in a laundry bag and use delicate cycle.
- Don't tumble dry. Hang and air-dry instead.
- Once dry, hang them up. Don't fold.
- Don't iron.

The Skull Monton Number 2 Gloves are lightweight fingerless cycling gloves designed for long, steady rides in warm conditions. Their anatomical palm shape is intended to improve comfort while reducing pressure around the ulnar nerve, making them particularly relevant for riders spending extended time on the bars. The palm also uses firm Poron XRD padding to damp road buzz on irregular surfaces, so the gloves suit both road riding and time spent on gravel tracks.
Padded and Breathable. The centre of the palm is laser-perforated to increase airflow, while the Poron XRD foam provides impact-absorbing cushioning without turning the glove into a heavily padded design. The back of the hand uses stretchy Silver Ion Recycled DeanDot fabric for a close fit. Monton specifies these gloves for temperatures from 22-40°C, making the construction clearly oriented towards warmer riding conditions.
Easy Ride-Day Handling. A sweat wipe is positioned over the thumb for use during harder efforts, while two finger loops on the middle and ring fingers make the gloves easier to remove after a ride. Reflective heat-transfer graphics on the back of the hand add visibility detail in lower light. The DeanDot fabric combines recycled polyester and nylon yarns with silver-ion antibacterial treatment and moisture-management finishing, helping the glove manage heat, moisture and repeated summer use without adding bulk.
