CeramicSpeed UFO Drip All Conditions is a liquid wax chain coating for riders who want a low-friction, clean-running drivetrain without using a hot-wax setup. It is the general-purpose option in CeramicSpeed’s UFO Drip family, intended for everyday outdoor riding rather than the specialised Wet Conditions or Indoor formulas. It suits riders who value drivetrain cleanliness and efficiency, but it is not the best choice if most rides are consistently wet, where CeramicSpeed recommends its Wet Conditions version.
Application Matters. A full coating uses about 8ml. CeramicSpeed specifies coating the chain twice from above the cassette and twice along the inside of the lower chain span, then rotating the cranks for 30 to 60 seconds to help the wax reach the rollers and links. The coating should then be allowed to dry overnight before riding. CeramicSpeed states that around 8 hours is the standard full drying time, although temperature and humidity can change this.
Know the Limits. For routine reapplication after dry riding, surface dust can be wiped away before applying a fresh coating. If the drivetrain has been contaminated, the bike has been washed, or the chain has been ridden in wet conditions, CeramicSpeed recommends fully cleaning and drying the chain before reapplying. Storage also matters: keep the bottle out of direct sunlight, between 5-30°C, and do not allow it to freeze. This makes indoor storage sensible in hotter Indian conditions, especially during peak summer temperatures.
