The Shimano FH-QC500-MS Rear Freehub is designed for riders who seek dependable functionality and simplicity on the trail. Built for 12-speed drivetrains, it delivers consistent engagement and durability, even under demanding off-road conditions.
Center Lock Rotor Compatibility for Quick Setup: Featuring Shimano’s Center Lock system, this freehub allows for fast and secure rotor installation using a spline mount and lock ring. This simplifies the disc brake setup and ensures reliable brake rotor alignment.
Quick Release Convenience: Engineered for traditional quick-release systems, the FH-QC500-MS offers straightforward installation and compatibility with a wide range of frames. It’s a great option for riders upgrading from older systems while retaining ease of use.
Ready for Versatile Builds: The hub features an O.L.D. of 135 mm and is compatible with #13 and #14 gauge spokes, making it suitable for a variety of 32H rim configurations. The Micro Spline design accommodates a smaller 10T top gear for enhanced gear range and efficiency.
With Labyrinth and Contact Sealing, the hub provides superior protection against mud, dirt and water. This sealing system extends service life and ensures smooth operation in varied weather and terrain.
