The Muc-Off Dark Energy Chain Wax is designed for riders who want a clean, quiet and efficient drivetrain with long-lasting protection for road, gravel, mountain bike, training and racing use.

High-Performance Wax Formula: Developed as a next-generation dropper wax, Dark Energy is formulated to balance efficiency, durability and low wear. It helps reduce friction while keeping the drivetrain smoother during regular riding.

Durable Dry-Film Barrier: The refined wax blend forms a dry-film barrier that performs consistently in dry and damp conditions. This helps repel dirt and grime while reducing drivetrain maintenance over time.

Extensively Tested Development: Created through Muc-Off’s in-house R&D process, the formula was tested across 90+ formulations, over 8,500 hours of lab and machine testing and more than 100,000km of real-world riding.

The Muc-Off Dark Energy Chain Wax is a practical upgrade for riders seeking a faster, quieter and cleaner chain with dependable wear protection.
