Crane Suzu Steel Band Mount Cycle Bell

Crane Suzu Steel Band Mount Cycle Bell is a lever-strike bicycle bell for riders who want a traditional metal bell with a strong, clear warning tone. The Suzu uses a steel band rather than the clamp-band system found on Crane’s E-NE, giving it a more traditional mounting arrangement for compatible round handlebars. It suits commuter, city, touring and road bikes where a simple mechanical bell is preferred. Crane offers brass and aluminium versions, with the material choice changing the bell’s weight while retaining the same basic mounting system and operating method.

Simple and Audible. A spring-loaded lever activates the dome with a thumb press, producing the clear ringing tone associated with the Suzu design. The mechanical layout is straightforward for everyday riding, while the steel band keeps the bell securely positioned on a compatible round handlebar section. Riders choosing between brass and aluminium should treat the decision mainly as a choice between material and overall mass rather than a difference in mounting compatibility.

Check the Bar. The steel band is designed for specific round handlebar diameters, so fit should be confirmed before installation rather than assumed from the bell’s appearance. Riders using aero-profile, integrated or heavily tapered handlebars should confirm that a suitable round clamping section is available before ordering.
