Our rim tape was developed to give extra protection from flats, creating a solid barrier between the tube and wheel, keeping your tires free from flats and your bike on the road instead of on your back.
The rim tape effectively protects the tube against mechanical damage, for example from spoke heads and metal burrs around the spoke holes.
