Ice Technologies Freeza rotors feature an extended inner aluminum layer with wide, exposed radiator fins that boost cooling capabilities.
Shimano Ice Technologies Freeza rotors offer an impressive 100°C (212°F) reduction in heat build-up compared to standard stainless-steel rotors and a 40℃ (104°F) reduction in heat buildup compared to our Ice Technology rotors. Our premium rotors also feature a special heat dissipation paint on the fins that can further reduce heat buildup by 10℃ (50F°).
The Center Lock system makes an easy rotor installation possible with spline mount and a lock ring. The lock ring mounting system reduces the total working hours by shortening the amount of time of both installation and de-installation. In addition, the secure fixing by the spline mount enhances precision and rigidity while improving braking efficiency.
